This building was designed with an emphasis on openness, transparency and an inter-connection of the interior and exterior spaces. The functional program also followed this concept by creating independent modules joined together in a coherent whole.
The individual modules of the building were expressed using an architectural language to differentiate them from each other through the use of geometry and materials. The administrative wing, for example, has a rectangular volume with masonry walls, while the library and the cafeteria have curved forms with a transparent curtain wall system.
