Repair of stone façades

Complexe les Ailes, located in the heart of downtown Montreal, occupies the Eaton Building built in 1925.

This building, which was for a long time the largest store in the city of Montreal, has 11 floors and includes offices on the upper levels, as well as a shopping centre counting more than 60 stores at the time.
DMA completed the rehabilitation of the masonry envelope (Tyndall stone) as part of a five-year asset maintenance plan.
The work involved a strategy to relocate certain elements in order to maintain a visual unity and preserve the building's prestigious appearance.
